Mahala is a twenty-something blogger who spends her time binging Netflix originals (or Friends) and checking out new makeup releases.
I guess you could say I’m a bad blogger… There isn’t that much consistency with my posting as adulting is harder than I thought!
I now spend Monday to Fridays, making the great commute to London, to my digital marketing role in the charity sector. With a degree in Psychology and working in mental health straight out of university, I try to educate others about the importance of inclusive language and giving others the tools to better understand themselves.
Having experienced depression and anxiety during my studies and periodically over the last few years, I hope if you’re going through something at the moment you are not alone and it does get better in time.
Why did you start blogging?
Originally a platform to share my fashion favourites, one Kylie Lip Kit review back in 2016 and I was bitten by the makeup bug. From one makeup bag and putting my foundation on with my fingers, to a carefully organised collection and brushes for every product application, my passion has really taken over!
What do you blog about?
Makeup and skincare reviews and tips which I’ve picked up (often through epic fails!). Real talk about mental health, adulting and wedding planning (it’s much more stressful than people tell you!).
