Way back when I started turning to YouTube for beauty advice, Shaaanxo was the beauty guru I went to and years later, I’m still tuning in to see what Shannon is up to and recommending. She’s also one of the influencers/content creators/girl bosses who I feel is genuine and that’s quite difficult to find in the beauty world…
Because I value Shaaanxo’s opinion when it comes to beauty, I have also wanted to try her own brand, as I’m of the opinion if you’re willing to put your name on something, it must be good. Right?? – Well, anyone else getting flashbacks of glass filled, dirty lipsticks by Jaclyn Hill Cosmetics? It appears the beauty industry is starting to become saturated with celebrity/ influencer lines, and I’m growing increasingly more MEH with it all, BUT xoBeauty is different for me.
It’s an established brand that’s been running for quite a few years now, and it’s been one I’ve wanted to try for ages. When False Eyelashes kindly sent over these lashes* I knew I had to have a play…
Spoiler Alert… These lashes are good!
These xoBeauty lashes are cruelty free and are really affordable when it comes to reusable lashes. Super light weight with a comfortable band, which are easy to wear. I’m a fan and will definitely be exploring more styles by xoBeauty.
xoBeauty is now available in the UK from False Eyelashes.
The Rebel (£7.99) – Multi-layered with a feather effect, perfect for full glam looks.
The Sinner (£7.99) – Full impact lashes, with a dramatic wispy look with length.
The Chic (£7.49) – Soft cluster lashes with an invisible band.
The Shaaanxo Remix Palette was a bargain I came across in Tk Maxx recently, the collab with Bh Cosmetics has great pigmentation and is easy to use.

How to apply lashes like a boss…
- Gently remove the lashes from the packaging with tweezers, take your time… I’ve learnt the hard way.
- Fresh out of the box, put the lash up to your lash line, this allows you to see how much of the lash length you need to cut down for it to fit your eye shape. ALWAYS cut the outer corner off, this will give a more natural look.
- Use your perfect lash you just cut, as a template for the other lash.
- Apply the glue to the lash band and wait for it to be tacky, before applying it to your lash line. This will stop sliding and movement.
Have some extra space showing? Use eyeliner to fill the gaps.
Tips for getting the most of your lashes…
Gently swipe the band of the lashes with a micellar water soaked cotton pad, this will prevent you ripping them off (which can be mega painful!). Once removed, gently pick off big chunks of glue and use micellar water to remove any stubborn glue. Then they’ll look good as new!
Keep them safe
You know it’s been a night when you wake up with one lash on and the other in your hair! Yep, always take them off before bed and stash them somewhere safe, like a box or a lash box.
