I have an ever growing face mask collection. They’re just the perfect product to be fickle with, as their more often than not a single use product. That means I can play around with different brands and see what’s what. I think I stock pile them, as they’re something I reach for when I’m stressed; I pop one on, sit back and watch some Netflix, knowing that I’ll have fabulous skin the next day. Happy skin just boosts my confidence, and well confidence just helps with most aspects in life!
If you have dry skin like me, or your face could do with some added TLC after being out in the sun, here’s some face masks that’ll give you the boost you need. Although be warned a few are not purse friendly!
Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask (£2.99) – Garnier
I always go back to this mask. Refreshing and cooling, this soft tissue mask is perfect for prepping your face before an important event half an hour or so before makeup application. This gentle formula works wonders to soothe sunburn and sore skin. Another bonus is it’s often on sale!- Who doesn’t love a bargain?
5 Minute Reset Hydrogel Mask (£3.50) – Simple
If you want something a bit different, this gel like sheet mask feel squishy but relaxing. Deeply hydrating and quick acting this is perfect if you have a spare five minutes. Definitely recommend lying down for this one, it’s prone to slipping.
Pore Clear Pack (£9.99) – Naris Cosmetics
Not all skincare masks need to be hydrating to work wonders on dry skin, this peel off mask with egg extract gently extracts dead skin to bring forward newer and more nourished skin. I pick this mask up when I’m in London at the Japan Centre, along with some Sake of course!
I follow this mask with toner and then a hydrating face mask.
ThirstyMud Hydration Treatment (£42) – GlamGlow
Creamy and bursting with coconut goodness this mask leaves your skin feeling nourished, and the scent makes you feel like you’re on an exotic beach (a girl can dream!). On the pricier end of skincare, this mask is worth the cost as a little goes a long way. There’s also a range of sizes, so you can try before you commit to buying this big boy.
Jet Lag Mask (£42) – Summer Fridays
If you fancy treating yourself to some high end skincare which is a fan favourite of Kim Kardashian, this is the product to shell out for. The thick creamy mask contains chestnut extract which activates the body’s natural facial exfoliation, whilst hydrating the skin. I wear this over night to feel the full benefits, to get softer, radiant and plumper skin.
